Rates

• $75 per 60 minute supervision; $150 for 90 minute supervision

You wanted to be a counselor. You completed your coursework. Your skills were put to the test through practicums and internships. An official diploma is ready to hang on your wall. You are ready to sit with your first client, but you feel like an imposter. Just so you know imposter syndrome is real. If you’ve ever had a moment when you didn’t know what to say or do with a client, then you are normal. This is why ethics and state licensure require supervision.

Perhaps you want to get over your imposter syndrome. To do that you need a mentor, a supervisor. It would be great to have someone experienced with a variety of clients and interventions. Obviously, you need a supervisor that fits well with you and can help you grow as a professional.

I help new counselors to grow their professional skills. Building confidence is part of supervision. Skill building, case conceptualization, and ethical decision-making are important parts of the supervision process.. Supervision will be weekly for at least 2 years. We will set goals and attain them. Together, we can work through the uncertainties that come with the job. We can transform the impostor into a seasoned professional.
